Trap Shooting At The Harwinton Rod & Gun Club

Whether you are a new shooter or experienced, trap at the Harwinton Rod & Gun Club will offer you both excitement and competition. Our trap range has a five-station line-up and automatic launcher housed partially underground.

Trap shooters are welcome to shoot year-round. Shoots are held Friday evenings and late Sunday mornings during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. During the winter, trap shoots are held Sunday mornings. These shoots are open to the public, so feel free to take advantage of this offer to shoot a great round of trap and take a look around our club.

We often take new shooters under our wing and instruct them on proper gun handling as well teach them the sport of trap shooting. So, please, do not feel hesitant to come and ask for help. You will always find the members of HRG kind and courteous.

Upland bird season around the corner? What better way is there to sharpen your shooting skills and have a great time with good people?

Both new and experienced shooters will love our trap leagues. Standard handicaps keep the competition alive for all levels of shooters.
